On the Subject of 3D Tap Code
Since when are blank modules? 💙
Hold the module to hear a series of clicks. Each triplet of clicks encodes a letter as shown in the letter cube on the right. Determine in which order the coordinates are transmitted. Only one coordinate order results in a word contained in the word cube below. The lookup table(s) on the next page give you the encoding of each letter for each coordinate order, where X is horizontal movement (i.e. A to B to C), Y is vertical movement (i.e. A to D to G), and Z is depth (i.e. A to J to R).
Within the word cube, start from the decoded word, and move A spaces along the first coordinate, B along the second and C along the third (wrapping around the edges), where A, B, C are the first three characters of the serial number (A = 1, ..., Z = 26).
Transmit the new word using the same coordinate system to disarm the module. Tap the module 1 to 3 times for each coordinate, then wait for a click sound before proceeding to the next coordinate. Holding the module will reset your input.
