On the Subject of Abnormality Choice

Want amputated? Bones melt. Flesh explode? Won’t die.

Hello, X. I give you a warm welcome to Lobotomy Corporation.

I am Angela, your advisor and secretary.

Your job here at Lobotomy Corporation is to produce power and keep the employees alive.

Luckily for you, I’ve been keeping on top of things here for a while, but to make sure you’re still fit to manage, I’m letting you choose our next Abnormality.

All you need to do is pick the best Abnormality for our facility.

On the top bars of your display, you’re being shown our worker’s defenses against the types of damage [RED, WHITE, BLACK, and PALE], where 0 is empty and 5 is full. Similarly, displayed on the lower bars is their proficiency in the types of work [Instinct, Insight, Attachment, and Repression], where I is empty and V is full.

In the center are the three Abnormalities’ boxes to choose from, labelled with their IDs, and on the bottom of your display is the current day.

Look up the Abnormality in the third table to find its risk class, damage type, and preferred work (of which the colors match those of the damage).

For each of the three Abnormalities:

  1. In the first table, find the intersection of the Abnormality’s risk class and our workers’ resistance to its damage.
  2. In the second table, find the intersection of the Abnormality’s risk class and the current day.
  3. Add these values together.
  4. In the third table, find the intersection of the Abnormality and our workers’ proficiency with its preferred work type.
  5. Multiply the values from steps 3 and 4 together.

Once you have found the best Abnormality for our Corporation, Manager, choose it by selecting its containment box.

Damage Types and Resistances

Manager, the better our workers defend against damage from the Abnormalities, the better it will be for us.
