On the Subject of Chess
Without pressure, chess is simply a game of cause and effect.
- Use the numbered buttons on the bottom row of the module to browse through six different coordinates on the 6×6 chessboard below. A green LED below the button indicates which coordinate is currently selected.
- Using the tables below, place a specific chess figure on each coordinate.
- Assuming standard FIDE chess movements (and that the pieces are all white), the chess figures together will attack all but one square.
- To solve the module, enter the coordinate of the only unattacked square (letter then number) into the module.
C#n refers to the nth coordinate.
L# is the last digit of the serial number.
K is king, Q is queen, R is rook, B is bishop, and N is knight.
If a rule asks for a number of pieces, do all other rules first.
