On the Subject of Clarifying Zealously Chinese Zodiac
Index zero is a whole lot better than index 1804.
This module presents two cyclable displays. The top display cycles between five years while the bottom display cycles between five Chinese zodiac signs. Only one of the years has its correct Chinese zodiac sign associated with it on the module. Set the displays to a matching configuration of year and Chinese zodiac sign and press the submit button in the top-right corner to disarm the module.
To determine what any one year’s Chinese zodiac sign is, do the following:
- Take the year modulo 10.
- Find the corresponding digit in Table A. This will give you the first character.
- Take the year modulo 12.
- Find the corresponding digit in Table B. This will give you the second character.
