On the Subject of Color-Symbolic Interpretation Module

I hope you got a calculator with you!
This machine was designed to specifically distract the defuser by demanding accurate mathematical operations.

  • The player is presented with 3 screens and a keypad with two special functions. These are [-] and [ENT].
  • Through interpretation of the information given on the top screen, one must apply a function to the input value1 displayed on the bottom screen to submit the output2 on the middle screen with the use of the keypad.
  • Answer correctly 4 times to solve the module. Failing to solve even one stage will reset the module back to square one and remove all the values it gathered from the previous attempt from its memory.

Dependent Colors:

The meaning of the color on the top display depends on the symbol assigned to the factor.

+-*
Red3Add to the previous output4, then multiply it by the factorSubtract to the previous output4, then multiply it by the factorMultiply to the previous output4, then multiply it by the factor
CyanAdd to the first input, then multiply it by the factorSubtract to the first input, then multiply it by the factorMultiply to the first input, then multiply it by the factor
Green3Add to the previous output4, then add it by the factorSubtract to the previous output4, then add it by the factorMultiply to the previous output4, then add it by the factor
MagentaAdd to the first input, then add it by the factorSubtract to the first input, then add it by the factorMultiply to the first input, then add it by the factor
Blue3Add to the previous output4, then subtract it by the factorSubtract to the previous output4, then subtract it by the factorMultiply to the previous output4, then subtract it by the factor
YellowAdd to the first input, then subtract it by the factorSubtract to the first input, then subtract it by the factorMultiply to the first input, then subtract it by the factor

Independent Colors:

The function is constant, regardless of the symbol.

Dark RedAdd it by the factor
Dark GreenSubtract it by the factor
Dark BlueMultiply it by the factor
MulticoloredReplace it with the factor
WhiteReplicate the color from the previous stage5
GrayNo action required

Interpreting Factors:

It is necessary to comprehend the meaning of each factor to complete the function and achieve the correct output.

FactorAlgebral Value
AAmount of consecutive successive submissions
BAmount of batteries on the bomb
CThe current Input
FThe first Output4
IThe first Input
LThe largest prime denominator of the absolute value of Input number6
NLast digit of the Serial Number
OThe previous Output4
PThe previous Input4
SThe total sum of the Serial Number digits
XAmount of strikes when the stage was generated7
ZConcatenate the 3rd and 6th Serial Number character

Special Buttons:

Negate Key:

  • Pressing the button will toggle the output display's color from white to red and vice versa.
  • If the output display color is red, the number that is going to be submitted is considered negative.

Enter Key:

  • Pressing the button will submit the answer shown on the output display.
  • It will only work if there is a 2-digit number shown on the output display.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. If the input display is color red, the number that is being shown in negative.
  2. If the answer you have calculated is not in the range of -99 to 99, keep adding or subtracting 100 until the answer reaches the given range.
  3. The non-white displays shown on the right-most side of the module have the corresponding colors marked with this number.
  4. If this value is being used on the first stage of the module, apply the Factor Z value instead of its original value.
  5. If the first or previous color of the stage is White, then no action is required to be performed.
  6. If the absolute value of the input number is 0 or 1, then ignore the factor and apply the formula without it. If the top display color is Multicolored, submit 0 instead.
  7. The stage is considered generated when the input display shows its input number.
