On the Subject of Enchantment Table

“That tonight’s gonna be the big fight...”

  • This module consists of three displays, all written in standard galactic alphabet.
  • In order to solve the module, you must select the correct enchantment by translating each display and following the rules based on edgework and the type of enchant.
  • If you strike on the module new enchants will be generated.

Step Two: Picking Your Enchant

To determine your enchant, first figure out if the edgework condition applies. If not, move to the following condition until one applies; then, determine if the enchant condition applies.

Enchantment Categories

The enchantments can be sorted into eleven different categories: Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots, Sword, Shovel, Pickaxe, Axe, Hoe, Bow, and Fishing Rod.

Edgework Conditions Enchantment Conditions
If the serial number has any characters in ‘ENCH4NT’. If one of the enchants is either a chestplate or hoe enchant, press the chestplate or hoe enchant that comes first alphabetically.
If the bomb has a serial port. If there is exactly one sword enchant, press that enchant.
If the bomb has a LIT CLR indicator or an UNLIT CAR indicator. If one of the enchants is either a pickaxe or shovel enchant, press the enchant that comes first in reading order.
If the serial number contains more digits than letters. If a helmet enchant is present, press that enchant; if there is more than one, press the second enchant in reading order.
If the bomb has a parallel port or a RCA port. Press the third enchant in reading order.
If the bomb has a PS2 port. If there is a bow enchant, press that enchant. If there is more than one, press the first in reading order.
If the bomb has more UNLIT than LIT indicators. If there is a leggings enchant, press that enchant. If there is more than one, press the button position equal to the number of indicators. If there are more than three indicators subtract two until you get a number between 1-3.
If the bomb has a RJ-45 port. If there is a fishing rod enchant, press that enchant.
If the bomb has no ports. Press the enchant that comes first in reverse alphabetical order.
Otherwise. Press the second enchant in reading order.
