On the Subject of Faulty Cruel Flashing Rotating Squares
Can we like, don’t?
On the module are 16 coloured squares, arranged in a grid, on a circle plate.
Each square will randomly flash Red, Yellow, Green, or Blue.
All but three square will always flash all 4 colours in a cycle.
The three squares that only flash 3 colours are the Dead Squares.
When the module activates, you have 45 seconds to identify the Dead Squares, and press an unused square within the same row or column as the Dead Square that is missing a different colour from the Dead Square(s) used in the previous press to disable the module.
If all squares are in the unused state, any squares in the same row or column as any Dead Squares can be pressed.
Pressing an already pressed square or pressing in a wrong row or column will register a strike.
Each time the module is deactivated via correct presses, the circle plate may rotate.
The plate will rotate by anywhere from 1 to 840 degrees in either direction.
When all 16 squares have been used up, seven quiet beeps can be heard and all squares will briefly flash the same colour before returning back into the unused state.
