On the Subject of Just a Wire

I hope you like fruit ninja...

  • A single wire connects from the status light to a terminal block. The wire has 15 points of contact, numbered 0-14 from the status light.
  • The defuser must cut three of these points to solve the module. However, after the first cut is made, the defuser must make the other two cuts in just a second.
  • If the defuser cuts a wrong point or doesn’t make the cuts in time, the module will incur a single strike, then solve.

The first point to cut (Point X) is determined by the port it runs from on the terminal. The terminal’s ports are numbered 5-9 from left-to-right when oriented to the top edge.

The four corners/edges of the module are numbered 2-5 in reading order.
The second point to cut is X subtracted by the status light’s corner.
The third point to cut is X plus the terminal’s edge.
