On the Subject of Logic Wheel

Because “Binary Logic” was waaay too stale of a name.

Original Manual

Upon pressing “REGEN”, five numbers will be displayed on the five screens.

Two of the numbers, when converted to binary and applied one of five logic gates, will return a third number. The other two numbers are dummies.

The possible logic gates are OR, AND, NOR, NAND, and XOR. Determine what the logic gate is, and what the dummy numbers are.

The two inputs, the output, and the dummy numbers will be randomly placed, but they will always be in the same position across all regenerations.

After determining what the logic gate is, press the “SUBMIT” button, and submit the result of applying that logic gate to the two most recent dummy numbers.

Submitting the correct binary will disarm the module. Submitting the incorrect binary will incur a strike.

Pressing “REGEN” after pressing “SUBMIT” or submitting an incorrect answer will fully reset the module — a new logic gate must be determined, and the positions of the inputs, output, and dummies may change.
