On the Subject of Nasko’s Mood
mental state.
This module provides a direct and completely unnecessary wellness check on Nasko. Pressing the button asks the only question that matters: what kind of mood is he in right now?
There is no pattern to deduce, no edgework to inspect, and no clever way to improve your odds. By pressing the button, you are simply choosing to find out.
Performing the Wellness Check
- Press the button to contact Nasko.
- Wait for the module to finish checking. Pressing it harder will not improve his mood.
- Consult the table below for the consequences of your decision.
| GOOD MOOD | The module solves. Congratulations: you picked a socially acceptable time to check on him. |
|---|---|
| BAD MOOD | The module strikes. This is unfortunate, but you did voluntarily ask. |
| NO ANSWER | The module solves. No internet, server trouble, a timeout, or other communication failure should be interpreted as a strong suggestion to leave Nasko alone. |
A wellness check that takes longer than ten seconds is abandoned and treated as no answer. At that point, everyone involved has done enough.
The expert cannot calculate the current mood. The defuser cannot negotiate with the server. Sometimes the correct procedure is simply to press the button and accept what happens next.
