On the Subject of Passcube
It got rejected from being a Boggle cube. Now it’s plotting its revenge.
Each letter of the alphabet is mapped to four different letters of the alphabet. The letter shown on the top face of the cube will show its four letters on the back, right, front, and left sides of the cube. Pressing one of the four arrows will rotate the cube until that face becomes the new top face, and the letters along the sides become the new mapped letters.
One of the words in the wordlist below is hidden in the mapping. The solution word will have each of its letters require only one rotation of the cube to go from one letter to the next.
Pressing the green button will start submission and add the letter currently shown on the top face to the input screen at the top left. Pressing an arrow button will add the letter on that face to its input. The input is checked once six letters have been added to the input. Submitting the correct word will disarm the module.
Pressing the red button will exit submission mode and clear your input. Pressing the green button while already in submission mode or inputting an invalid word will incur a strike.
