On the Subject of RPS Tournament
Medusa is immune to nuclear explosions. Apparently.
On the module, there are 8 random and unique contestants from the pool of 21 possible options, present in the table below.
The competition follows a bracket-style tournament, beginning with the quarterfinals. The matchups are arranged clockwise, starting with the first in the top-left, the second in the top-right, the third in the bottom-right, and the fourth in the bottom-left.
The winners of the first two quarterfinals advance to the first semifinal (upper half of the bracket), while the winners of the last two advance to the second semifinal (lower half of the bracket). The two semifinal winners then face off in the final to determine the overall champion.
Press the button corresponding to the final winner. Selecting the wrong button will result in a strike, but the module will not reset.
To determine the winner of a one-on-one match, refer to the table below. Each contestant defeats the next 10 contestants in numerical order (wrapping around to the beginning if necessary) and loses to the previous 10.
