On the Subject of Shapes

Nowadays it seems the module printing factory is spitting out things in all shapes and sizes.

The buttons represent an eight-letter English word. Each button (and the shapes on it, if present) represents a syllable of the word.

  • The shape of the button represents the starting consonant of the syllable (the onset).
  • The color of the button represents the vowel (the nucleus).
  • The shapes on the button represent the ending consonants of the syllable (the coda). Consonant sounds are to be read in reading order.

Determine the word from its pronunciation, then input it:

  • Two buttons: Input as Morse Code, where the buttons represent a dot and dash in reading order.
  • Three buttons: Input as ternary, in which A=0 and Z=25, where the buttons represent 0, 1, and 2 in reading order.
  • Four buttons: Refer to the grid on the right. The four buttons represent directions to which you can navigate from the center to a letter.

After each input, wait for the letter to appear. A strike will be incurred and the letter will appear red if it is incorrect.

Input all letters correctly to disarm the module.
