On the Subject of Stellar

Can you be in three places at once?

This module contains a rapidly spinning great stellated dodecahedron (or “spiky thing”). Tapping the dodecahedron will play a three-letter word.
Note that the same word will only play twice in a row. After that, a different word will be played.

Reading the word

The first letter of the word is encoded in Braille. The dodecahedron will pulse bigger for a raised dot, and smaller for a non-raised dot. The order is top to bottom, left to right.
The second letter of the word is encoded in Tap Code. The sounds heard after tapping the dodecahedron should be interpreted as taps.
The third letter of the word is encoded as Morse Code. The flashes on the dodecahedron should be interpreted as such.

Submission

Take the letters’ positions in the alphabet, where A is 1, B is 2, etc. Take the sum of those numbers. Take the last digit of that number. Add 2 to that number.
When you begin holding the dodecahedron, it will pulse every second. Hold it across exactly as many pulses as the number you obtained.
