On the Subject of Stone Plate
Children yearn for the mines they said...
You are a mining bot in an 8x8-tiles Underground, searching for Treasure. One treasure has been detected nearby, and you will need to drill it up.
On the Plate is your starting coordinate.
Using the number of indicators (capped at 3), Void several cells as described on Page 2. Void mechanics are described in Shared Appendix V O I D.
A single Treasure, randomly selected from the ones described on Page 2, will be somewhere in the Underground. Parts of it can be Voided, and they do not need to be drilled for the module to solve.
The Treasure will not be rotated, and will be contained in its entirety in the 8x8 Underground.
Press the edges of the Plate to move around, or press the center to drill at your current location.
The Plate will vibrate slightly if the cell is empty or has been drilled already, or greatly if the cell contains part of the Treasure.
You will need to drill all of the Treasure in under 20 drills, as the Underground is unstable and might collapse on you.
Trying to move outside of the Underground (including due to Void movement) or failing to drill the Treasure before 20 drills will give you a Strike, and will re-generate a new puzzle.
In case it is needed, press the word “STONE” on the module’s casing to re-generate a new puzzle without striking.
You will return to your starting coordinate (which will be unchanged and still visible on the Plate), a new Treasure will be hidden, and all dug cells will be reset.
