On the Subject of The Nobody’s Code
Nobody knows The Nobody Show since this never exists...
- This module will display buttons from 0–9, a 8-digit code, a “clear” (X) and “submit” (✓) button, and a stage counter.
- The current stage is shown on the display, and the stages are in order.
- For the first stage, take the 8-digit code. This is your starting solution.
- For every stage there-after, take the 8-digit code.
- Once all solvable non-ignored modules have been solved, the stage display will turn blank, and the number screen will have a list of 5 stages. You can cycle through these stages by pressing the clear button, this also clears your input.
- Enter your 8-digit code using the number pad, and press the submit button to solve the module; you cannot see the code that you entered.
- If the code is incorrect, a strike will be recorded and the module will cycle through all stages automatically. To stop this cycling, press the submit button again (which will also generate five new stage numbers to implement), and to use code check, enter the stage number without leading zeros.
- Code checks can be done without a stage cycle, but using this will incur a strike.
- Go through the eight tables below. Add the digit you get from each of the tables to their stage 1 digits on the module. If any of those are greater than 10, take the last digit of that.
- Upon reaching a pair of digits, if the last digit of the serial is even, use the left digit. Otherwise use the right digit.
- “[NUMBER #]” refers to the number from that stage shown on the module; if there is a dot on both sides of the screen, this number is notated as “[NUMBER 5].”
- Numbers mentioned from the table will only refer to the 5 stages listed.
