On the Subject of Toxic Plate

This Plate’s power fuels League of Legends, Twitter, anime Subreddits, and Thanksgiving dinner discussions.

You are trapped in a 23-room labyrinth with moving Void.

Take the four numbers in the topmost row on the Plate and Void the associated rooms in Appendix SLUDGE.
The middle row on the Plate represents the location of the three Toxic Crystals which you must gather to solve the module.
The bottom number is your starting location.

Each Room has only a maximum of one open doorway for each cardinal direction. Use the buttons on the plate to move around by taking those directions.

Trying to move in a direction that doesn’t have an open doorway will shake the Plate and make a sound, but not strike.

Voided Rooms are considered as if they do not exist.
Upon entering a Voided Room, keep moving until exiting into a non-Voided Room:

  • If only one other door exist, exit through it
  • Otherwise, exit through the doorway in the same direction you just took.
  • Otherwise, exit through the doorway that is cardinally clockwise from the direction you took (North > East, East > South, etc.)

After each of your movement, the Void will move around and change rooms.
On its first ever movement, it moves through the North door (or the first cardinally clockwise if there is none).

Multiple Voids can end in the same room, but they can separate in the next movement.
There always are 4 Voids present.

Afterwards, it follows the first wall connected clockwise to the door it took, relative to the movement it did, and move through rooms following this wall.

A Void starting in 18 will move to 11 > 15 > 19 > 22 > 13 > 18 and loop.
A Void starting in 3 will move through 5 > 1 > 2 > 3 and loop.
A Void starting in 17 will move through 22 > 19 > 15 > 11 > 4 > 5 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 0 > 12 > 8 > 16 > 21 > 17 and loop.

Being in a Room that gets Voided will result in a Strike and will reset the module to its starting state.

Gathering the last Toxic Crystal will solve the module and not strike, even if the room should get Voided afterwards.

You can press the “TOXIC” text on the plate to reset the module to its starting state without a strike.
