On the Subject of Twodokus

The 6×6 grid on the module contains some digits and some geometric shapes. These form two separate 6×6 sudokus, one using the digits 1–6 and one using 6 distinct geometric shapes.
One of the two sudokus will have “wide” regions, the other “tall” regions as shown in the diagrams.
Once solved, focus on the cells that are highlighted in green. For each of those cells, in reading order, look up the name of the geometric shape in the below table and use the digit to index into that name (e.g. the digit 1 resolves to the first letter). If the word is too short, pretend that it is repeated (e.g. KITEKITE).
Enter the resulting solution word using the buttons on the right of the module by selecting the appropriate sections of the alphabet and individual letters.
