On the Subject of Watch the Clock
This is a module that penalizes bomb interaction while the last digit of the bomb’s timer matches the digit displayed on the module.
Each instance of the “Watch the Clock” module (“Module”) consists of three (3) parts: an initially red 7-segment display displaying one (1) digit from 0 to 9 (“Digit”), a button placed to the right of the Digit (“Cycle Button”), and the lamp on the top right of the module that indicates the Module’s active state, which is common with most other modules.
When an instance of the Module detects that another module was interacted with*, the Module reads the state of the bomb’s timer. If the last digit of the bomb’s timer is equal to the digit displayed on the Digit, the Module will incur a strike on the bomb.
The Cycle Button
The Cycle Button is exempt from this rule, and can be pressed at any time without incurring a strike. This includes the case where there are multiple Modules, where the Cycle Button on each Module is not monitored by any Module. The Cycle Button increments the digit displayed on the Digit by 1, or loops back to 0 if the digit displayed on the Digit currently reads 9.
If the Digit appears cyan or displays a non-digit, pressing the Cycle Button on the corresponding Module solves the Module, and it will stop monitoring other modules.
* Detected interactions involve pressing a selectable object within a bomb module. Rotating the bomb or selecting and deselecting modules themselves are not detected interactions.
