On the Subject of Wire Testing

Cut to test.

This module has a panel with 5 wires, a CONFIRM and DENY button, and 3 stage lights.

To disarm this module, cut each wire and depending on the wire colors, their order, and what happens when they are cut, CONFIRM or DENY the set of wires. Doing this successfully 3 times will disarm the module. If you press the wrong button it will strike and reset to stage 1.

Determining Validity:

For each wire, find in the table the wire color and what happened when cut to determine that wire’s validity.

Key of Validity:

  • Red — if there are at least 3 wires colored red in any way, this is valid.
  • Two — if this is the second stage or second wire this is invalid.
  • HELP — if the serial number contains a letter from PLEASE, HELP, or ME, this is valid.
  • UwU — if there is a U or W in the serial number this is valid, otherwise it’s still valid.
  • Three — if the next wire down is not colored red in any way (loops around) this is valid.
  • Tree — if this is the third wire in this stage or this wire’s position (top to bottom, starting from 1) is a number in the serial number this is valid.
  • A — if there is more than 1 pressed in wire this is invalid.
  • Four — if the second character in the serial number is a number, this wire is valid if the fourth character is from G-Z, otherwise, if the second character is a letter, this wire is valid if there is not a 4 in the serial number.
  • X — if there are less than 3 strikes this is valid.
  • D — if there is a DVI-D port this is valid.
  • one — if you get 1 (one) bitch this is valid. (This is always invalid).
