On the Subject of Wirepads

I'm not sure what these symbols are, but I suspect there must have been an easier way to manage nine wires.

  • Only one of the columns below contains all four symbols on the module.
  • Cut the wires on the panels in the order their symbols appear within that column.
  • Do not cut a wire on the next panel until all necessary wires on the current panel are cut.
  • Cut the wires as directed by the table below. Wire occurrences are cumulative over all panels on the module.

Overrides

If any of the following statements are true, do the opposite of the table's direction:

  • Both the sum of the numeric digits of the serial number and the total number of wire occurrences are multiples of three.
  • The wire is connected to any letter of any lit indicator label.
  • The serial number contains both the number of occurrences of a wire colour and zero.

If no wires can be cut according to the instructions above, cut the last occurrence of each colour.
